SOC Analyst

Job Description

TechNova Solutions is looking for a SOC Analyst (Tier 1) to join our 24/7 security operations centre in Dubai, monitoring and defending our global infrastructure. You will triage alerts from our SIEM, escalate genuine incidents with quality context, and learn from senior analysts in a structured development programme. Our Dubai SOC monitors infrastructure across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, giving you round-the-clock exposure to real threats from your very first week.

Responsibilities

Monitor SIEM dashboards and triage security alerts
Perform initial analysis and escalate incidents to Tier 2
Follow incident response playbooks for common scenarios
Document investigations with clear timelines and evidence
Tune noisy detection rules under senior guidance
Complete structured training towards Security+ certification

Requirements

1-3 years in IT support, NOC or junior security role
Basic understanding of networking, Windows/Linux and security concepts
Familiarity with SIEM concepts; Splunk/Sentinel exposure a plus
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights
Eagerness to learn and grow in cybersecurity
