Security Engineer

Job Description

FinEdge Capital is hiring a Security Engineer for our Singapore technology hub to embed security into our digital banking platform. You will design secure architectures, implement security controls in AWS, run threat modelling sessions with engineering squads, and automate security testing in CI/CD pipelines. Our Singapore hub secures digital banking for over two million customers, operating under MAS regulations that demand security excellence at every layer.

Responsibilities

Design and implement security controls across AWS infrastructure
Embed threat modelling and secure design reviews into SDLC
Build security automation: SAST/DAST scanning, secrets detection
Manage WAF, DDoS protection and API security controls
Respond to security incidents alongside the SOC team
Drive remediation of vulnerabilities with engineering teams

Requirements

4-7 years of security engineering or DevSecOps experience
Deep AWS security knowledge (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Config)
Experience with SAST/DAST tooling and CI/CD integration
Infrastructure-as-code security (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Understanding of banking security standards (PCI DSS, MAS TRM)
Strong collaboration skills with engineering teams
