Job Description
FinEdge Capital is seeking an Information Security Manager to lead our security programme from New York, overseeing a team of engineers and analysts protecting our trading and banking platforms. You will own our security strategy, manage PCI DSS and SOC 2 compliance, report risk to the board, and build a world-class security organisation. Our New York security organisation protects trading systems processing billions daily, where your leadership directly safeguards the firm's licence to operate.
This executive-track role offers significant influence, budget ownership and direct access to the CTO and risk committee. We are looking for a leader who has built security programmes in financial services and can balance rigorous controls with business velocity. You will also represent the firm at FS-ISAC forums, build our university talent pipeline, and receive executive education support including funded Wharton or MIT programmes.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of security engineers and analysts
Own information security strategy, roadmap and budget
Manage PCI DSS, SOC 2 and regulatory compliance programmes
Report security posture and risk to executive leadership and board
Oversee incident response for major security events
Drive security awareness and culture across the organisation
Requirements
8+ years in information security with 3+ years leading teams
Deep knowledge of PCI DSS, SOC 2 and financial regulations
CISSP or CISM certification required
Proven incident response leadership experience
Strong executive communication and board-reporting skills
Experience in banking, trading or fintech strongly preferred
