Job Description
TechNova Solutions is engaging an Ethical Hacker on a 12-month contract for our fully remote offensive-security practice. You will perform advanced adversary simulations, red-team exercises and assumed-breach assessments for enterprise clients β operating like a real threat actor to test detection and response capabilities. Our red-team engagements simulate nation-state and ransomware actors for FTSE 100 clients, testing whether their defences hold when it truly matters.
We offer competitive contract rates, funded advanced training (OSEP, CRTO), and the freedom to research and publish. Our red teamers work on genuinely challenging engagements, not checkbox pentests, with full support from our detection engineering colleagues. You will also create custom tooling we open-source, train blue teams on attacker tradecraft, and receive funded CRTO and OSEP certifications plus Black Hat attendance.
Responsibilities
Conduct red-team operations and adversary simulations
Perform assumed-breach and ransomware-readiness assessments
Develop custom C2 infrastructure, implants and tradecraft
Bypass EDR and security controls using creative techniques
Document attack paths with detection-opportunity mapping
Debrief blue teams and support purple-team improvements
Requirements
3-5 years in offensive security (pentest, red team)
Strong Active Directory attack and lateral movement skills
Proficiency with C2 frameworks (Cobalt Strike, Sliver)
Evasion techniques against modern EDR solutions
Scripting in PowerShell, Python or C#
OSCP minimum; OSEP/CRTO preferred
Skills
Red Teaming, Active Directory Attacks, Cobalt Strike, EDR Evasion, PowerShell, Python, Social Engineering, Report Writing, Threat Emulation, OPSEC
Benefits
Competitive contract rates paid monthly
Fully remote across European time zones
Funded OSEP/CRTO advanced training
Research time and conference support
Contract extension and permanent options
