Procurement Specialist

Job Description

BuildRight Contracting is seeking a Procurement Specialist for our Doha operations. You will source materials, negotiate with suppliers and ensure our construction sites receive quality materials on schedule and within budget. With multiple active projects across Qatar, strong procurement is critical to our success. You will analyse market prices, identify cost-saving opportunities and support tender evaluations for major packages.

You will evaluate vendor quotations, manage purchase orders and build long-term supplier relationships. Experience with construction materials and ERP procurement modules is highly desirable. Strong performers progress to senior buyer and procurement manager roles across our Gulf operations. You will manage significant material packages with real commercial influence across our Qatar project portfolio.

Responsibilities

Source and evaluate suppliers for construction materials and services.
Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.
Raise and track purchase orders through the ERP system.
Ensure materials meet quality standards and project timelines.
Maintain approved vendor lists and performance records.
Resolve supply disputes and delivery issues promptly.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business or engineering.
3+ years of procurement experience, ideally in construction.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
Good analytical and cost-comparison abilities.
Willingness to relocate to Doha; visa sponsorship provided.
