Job Description

TechNova Solutions is seeking a PHP Developer for our Mumbai engineering team maintaining and evolving high-traffic web applications serving millions of monthly users. You will work primarily with Laravel, building APIs, background jobs and admin panels, while modernising legacy codebases towards clean, tested architectures. Our Mumbai team maintains platforms serving over fifty million page views monthly, where your optimisation work on queries and caching has immediately visible impact.

You will collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers and product managers in Agile squads, with your code reaching production multiple times per week. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel
Build RESTful APIs consumed by web and mobile clients
Write clean, tested code with PHPUnit coverage
Optimise MySQL queries and application performance
Refactor legacy code towards modern Laravel practices
Participate in sprint ceremonies and peer code reviews

Requirements

2-4 years of professional PHP development experience
Strong Laravel framework knowledge (Eloquent, queues, testing)
Solid MySQL skills including schema design and optimisation
Experience with REST API development and documentation
Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD basics
Understanding of web security best practices
