Job Description
DataMinds Analytics is hiring a JavaScript Developer for our fully remote European team building interactive data-visualisation products. You will craft rich client-side experiences with modern JavaScript and TypeScript β complex charts, real-time dashboards and buttery-smooth interactions β using React, D3.js and WebGL where it counts. Our visualisation products are used by analysts at major European banks and retailers, turning complex datasets into interactive stories that drive board-level decisions.
We are remote-first with teammates across six countries, async communication norms, and two annual team retreats. If you love the craft of frontend engineering and data made beautiful, this role offers deep technical challenges and real creative freedom. You will also experiment with WebGPU for next-generation rendering, publish technical articles on our engineering blog, and join our annual retreat in a European city.
Responsibilities
Build interactive data visualisations with React, D3.js and TypeScript
Develop real-time dashboards using WebSockets and streaming data
Optimise frontend performance for large datasets
Create reusable chart components and design-system contributions
Write unit and visual-regression tests for UI components
Collaborate with data engineers and UX designers
Requirements
3-5 years of professional JavaScript/TypeScript development
Strong React skills and data-visualisation experience (D3.js)
Understanding of Canvas, SVG and WebGL fundamentals
Experience with state management and real-time data flows
Eye for design detail and smooth user interactions
Comfortable working remotely across time zones
