IT Project Manager

Job Description

TechNova Solutions is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead complex technology delivery programmes from our London office. You will manage a portfolio of infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations and enterprise software rollouts, coordinating distributed teams across the UK, Europe and Asia while keeping stakeholders aligned and delivery on track. Current portfolio highlights include a group-wide migration to cloud telephony, a zero-trust network overhaul, and the rollout of a new ITSM platform across fourteen countries.

We are looking for a delivery-focused leader who combines rigorous planning with genuine agility. You will own budgets up to £2 million, run steering committees with C-level sponsors, and champion continuous improvement across our PMO practices in a company that truly values well-run delivery. You will also mature our benefits-realisation framework, coach junior project managers in Agile delivery techniques, and receive funded training towards PMI-ACP or SAFe Agilist certification.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation to closure
Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, RAID logs and governance reporting
Coordinate cross-functional and distributed engineering teams
Run sprint ceremonies and steering meetings with senior stakeholders
Manage third-party vendors, SOWs and contract milestones
Drive adoption of Agile and hybrid delivery practices across the PMO

Requirements

5-8 years of IT project management experience with enterprise-scale delivery
PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification; Agile/Scrum certification preferred
Proven track record delivering infrastructure or cloud migration projects
Strong stakeholder management skills up to C-level
Excellent budgeting, risk management and vendor negotiation abilities
Experience with Jira, MS Project or equivalent PPM tooling
