Risk Analyst

Job Description

FinEdge Capital is hiring a Risk Analyst to strengthen our London risk management function. You will measure and monitor credit, market and operational risks across our portfolios, producing reports that guide senior decision-making. This hybrid role sits within a respected risk team in a leading financial centre. You will back-test models, document methodologies and present risk appetite recommendations.

You will run stress tests, maintain risk models and flag emerging threats early. We are looking for a quantitatively strong analyst who communicates clearly with non-technical stakeholders. You will gain exposure to enterprise risk frameworks and have a clear route toward senior risk leadership. This role provides an excellent foundation for senior risk, compliance or portfolio management careers. You will gain prized risk expertise and board-level visibility in a leading London financial institution.

Responsibilities

Monitor credit, market and operational risk exposures.
Run stress tests and scenario analyses on portfolios.
Maintain and improve risk models and dashboards.
Prepare risk reports for senior management and committees.
Investigate limit breaches and recommend actions.
Support regulatory reporting and audit requests.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics or a quantitative field.
2-4 years of risk or quantitative analysis experience.
Strong Excel skills; Python or SQL a plus.
Knowledge of risk frameworks such as Basel III.
Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
