Job Description
FinEdge Capital is hiring a qualified Accountant for our London finance team. You will manage month-end close, prepare statutory accounts and ensure full compliance with UK reporting standards. This hybrid role sits at the centre of a growing financial services group with operations across Europe and the Gulf. You will also manage intercompany reconciliations and support group consolidation processes.
You will reconcile ledgers, support audits and partner with business units on budgeting. We are looking for an ACCA or ACA qualified professional who takes pride in accuracy. Responsibilities
Manage month-end close and prepare management accounts.
Prepare statutory financial statements under UK GAAP.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Support external audits and liaise with auditors.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
ACCA or ACA qualified (or finalist).
3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in financial services.
Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and tax regulations.
Advanced Excel skills; SAP experience preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
