Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

BuildRight Contracting is hiring a Quantity Surveyor for our London commercial projects. You will manage costs from tender to final account, ensuring projects deliver value and margin. This on-site role offers the chance to work on significant UK developments with a respected contractor. You will prepare tender analyses and advise on procurement strategies.

You will prepare bills of quantities, value variations and negotiate with subcontractors. We are looking for an RICS-qualified or progressing surveyor with sharp commercial instincts. Responsibilities

Prepare cost plans and bills of quantities.
Manage subcontractor procurement and valuations.
Value variations and assess claims.
Monitor project costs against budgets.
Prepare monthly cost reports.
Negotiate final accounts.

Requirements

Degree in quantity surveying or related field.
RICS qualified or working towards APC.
3+ years of UK contracting experience.
Strong contractual knowledge (JCT/NEC).
Excellent negotiation and numerical skills.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
