DataMinds Analytics is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for our New York practice to solve high-value problems for Fortune 500 clients. You will lead end-to-end data science engagements — from framing business questions and building models to deploying them into production — across churn prediction, pricing optimisation and fraud detection. Our New York practice advises C-suite clients on nine-figure decisions, from pricing strategy to fraud prevention, giving your models genuine board-level visibility.

This is a client-facing role for a scientist who communicates as well as they model. You will present to executives, mentor junior scientists, and publish internal research. Responsibilities

Lead data science projects from problem framing to production deployment
Build and validate ML models (classification, regression, forecasting)
Design experiments and causal analyses to measure business impact
Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders
Mentor junior data scientists on modelling and best practices
Deploy models with MLOps pipelines alongside engineering teams

Requirements

5-8 years of applied data science or ML experience
Expert Python skills (pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost/LightGBM)
Strong statistics foundation and experimental design knowledge
Experience deploying models to production (MLflow, SageMaker)
Excellent storytelling and executive communication skills
Client-facing or consulting experience strongly preferred
