IT & Software

Job Description

EduWorld International operates online learning platforms used by more than 120,000 students worldwide, and we need an IT Help Desk Technician to support our Manchester-based staff and faculty. You will handle day-to-day technical queries, from password resets and software installs to classroom AV equipment and video-conferencing setup for hybrid lectures. With over 400 staff and a busy programme of hybrid lectures, no two days are alike: you might start by imaging a lab of new laptops and end by troubleshooting lecture-capture systems.

This role is ideal for someone at the start of their IT career who communicates well and stays calm when users are stressed. We invest heavily in our people: you will receive funded training towards CompTIA and Microsoft certifications, with regular reviews mapping your route into second-line support or junior systems roles. You will also assist with our annual device refresh cycle, contribute practical tips to the staff IT newsletter, and receive funded training towards Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
