Frontend Engineer (React)

Job Description

TechNova Solutions is hiring a Frontend Engineer (React) for our fully remote ANZ team crafting the dashboards and design systems used by thousands of enterprise customers. You will build complex, data-dense interfaces with React, TypeScript and modern state management, obsessing over performance, accessibility and pixel-perfect implementation. Our dashboards render datasets with millions of rows, so you will master virtualisation, web workers and canvas rendering to keep every interaction at sixty frames per second.

We are remote-first with async-friendly rituals, so you will enjoy deep focus time plus genuine collaboration. You will own features end-to-end, contribute to our open-source design system, and work with designers and backend engineers who respect frontend craft. You will also lead our accessibility guild, contribute to design-system RFCs, and receive funding to speak at React conferences across Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities

Build complex React + TypeScript interfaces for enterprise dashboards
Develop and maintain our shared component library and design system
Optimise rendering performance for data-heavy views and large tables
Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance across features
Write unit and component tests with Vitest and Testing Library
Partner with UX designers on prototypes and interaction details

Requirements

3-5 years of professional React development experience
Expert TypeScript knowledge and modern React patterns (hooks, RSC)
Experience with state management (Zustand, Redux or TanStack Query)
Strong CSS skills including Tailwind or styled-components
Understanding of web performance optimisation and Core Web Vitals
Accessibility (a11y) experience strongly valued
