Job Description

TechNova Solutions is looking for an Android Developer to join our Hyderabad mobile team building fintech applications serving millions of users across India and Southeast Asia. You will develop native Android apps in Kotlin, implement Jetpack Compose UIs, and work on features spanning digital payments, KYC flows and real-time notifications. Our fintech apps handle millions of daily transactions, so you will learn to build for reliability, security and performance on devices ranging from flagships to entry-level phones.

Our Hyderabad centre offers the energy of a product startup with the resources of a global company. You will pair with senior engineers, follow modern Android architecture guidelines, and see your work in the hands of real users within weeks of joining. You will also participate in our monthly Android guild, contribute to shared libraries used by four app teams, and receive sponsored Google Associate Android Developer certification.

Responsibilities

Build native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
Implement MVVM architecture with coroutines and Flow
Integrate REST APIs, push notifications and payment SDKs
Optimise app size, performance and battery consumption
Write unit and instrumentation tests for critical user flows
Participate in code reviews and Agile sprint ceremonies

Requirements

2-4 years of professional Android development experience
Strong Kotlin skills and Jetpack Compose knowledge
Experience with Retrofit, Room and modern Android Jetpack libraries
Familiarity with MVVM/MVI architectures and dependency injection
Understanding of Play Store release processes
Published apps on the Play Store are a strong advantage
