Structural Engineer

Job Description

BuildRight Contracting is hiring a Structural Engineer for our Sydney commercial developments. You will design reinforced concrete and steel structures, perform structural analysis and ensure designs meet Australian standards. This on-site role offers the chance to shape the skylines of Australia's largest city. You will prepare structural reports and certification documentation for authorities.

You will produce calculations, review shop drawings and conduct site inspections during construction. Our team delivers high-rise residential and commercial projects with leading architects. Chartered or CPEng-track engineers with strong analytical skills are invited to apply. We offer mentorship towards chartership and exposure to landmark projects. You will work alongside leading architects on landmark commercial and residential developments, receiving mentorship towards chartership, exposure to complex structural challenges and the professional recognition that comes with shaping Sydney's skyline.

Responsibilities

Design concrete and steel structures.
Perform structural analysis using software.
Prepare calculations, drawings and specifications.
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
Conduct site inspections and resolve issues.
Coordinate with architects and builders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering.
3+ years of structural design experience.
Proficiency with ETABS, SAP2000 or similar.
Knowledge of AS 3600 and AS 4100.
Working towards CPEng/chartership preferred.
Eligibility to work in Australia.
