Mental Health Counselor

Job Description

GlobalHealth Care is hiring an empathetic Mental Health Counselor for our Amsterdam wellbeing centre. You will provide individual and group therapy for clients facing anxiety, depression and life transitions. This hybrid role blends in-person sessions with secure telehealth, offering flexibility alongside meaningful clinical work. You will facilitate psychoeducational groups and contribute to our community outreach programmes.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans and collaborate with psychiatrists where medication is indicated. We maintain manageable caseloads and provide regular clinical supervision. Registered psychologists and licensed counselors who value evidence-based practice will find a supportive home here. Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counselling sessions.
Conduct psychological assessments and intakes.
Develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Maintain confidential clinical records.
Collaborate with psychiatrists and GPs on care.
Deliver workshops on stress and resilience.

Requirements

Master's degree in psychology or counselling.
Registration with a recognised professional body.
3+ years of clinical counselling experience.
Training in CBT or similar evidence-based modalities.
Excellent English; Dutch a strong advantage.
Strong ethical and professional boundaries.
