Chemical Engineer

Job Description

BuildRight Contracting's industrial division in Dammam is hiring a Chemical Engineer for petrochemical plant projects. You will design process systems, oversee commissioning and ensure safe, efficient plant operations. This on-site role offers visa sponsorship and a tax-free package in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province. You will size equipment, prepare datasheets and review vendor proposals.

You will develop P&IDs, conduct HAZOP studies and support construction through to start-up. Our clients include major operators in Jubail and Yanbu industrial cities. Process engineers with strong safety awareness and Gulf experience are highly valued. Our Dammam team works on prestigious projects with leading petrochemical clients. You will collaborate with international licensors and major operators on prestigious petrochemical projects, gaining exposure to world-scale plants, advanced process technologies and safety systems that define best practice across the global industry.

Responsibilities

Design chemical process systems and equipment.
Develop P&IDs and process datasheets.
Participate in HAZOP and safety reviews.
Support construction, commissioning and start-up.
Troubleshoot process performance issues.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
4+ years of process engineering experience.
Knowledge of HAZOP and process safety.
Proficiency with Aspen HYSYS or similar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to relocate to Dammam; visa provided.
