The role combines fab production-line work with language support: after 1 to 2 years of training at a designated Taiwan fab, the technician is assigned to an overseas fab for 2 years or more, assisting with local talent training and communication in German. Day-to-day work includes monitoring production machines and indicators through automated dispatch systems, coordinating abnormal machine and dispatch situations, and handling wafer-box packing and material inventory inside the yellow-light cleanroom. The role runs on a 4-shift, 2-days-on/2-days-off rotation with day shifts from 7:20am to 7:20pm and night shifts from 7:20pm to 7:20am. No prior experience is required — university graduates of any discipline with at least B1 German can apply.

Responsibilities

Assist overseas fab construction and operations by training local talent and bridging communication in German. Monitor production machines and production indicators via automated computer dispatch systems. Coordinate with relevant units to handle machine and dispatch abnormalities. Perform wafer-box unpacking/packing and raw material inventory in the cleanroom. Follow 4-shift rotating schedules across day and night shifts.

Requirements

University degree or above, any discipline. German language certification at B1 level or higher. Careful, team-oriented, self-learning with logical thinking. Basic Office computer skills. No experience required; relevant experience an advantage. Willingness to work shifts and to accept a 2+ year overseas assignment after 1–2 years of Taiwan-based training.

Benefits

Day shift total monthly salary of about NT$32,000 and night shift about NT$43,000, plus profit-sharing bonuses and foreign-language/training allowances, with average annual pay above NT$800,000. Overseas assignment allowances apply during the posting abroad.
