Job Description
Novo Nordisk student assistant jobs include this opening at the Clinical Development Center Denmark (CDC DK) in Ørestad, Copenhagen. Novo Nordisk is hiring a Student Assistant to help clinical trials run smoothly, working alongside Clinical Research Associates on the planning and conduct of trials that bring new treatments closer to people living with serious chronic diseases. The position is approximately 15 hours per week with a high degree of flexibility, so working hours can be planned around studies, with additional flexibility during exam periods whenever possible. The role is primarily office-based, with the opportunity to work from home depending on tasks. The hourly base rate is DKK 209.27, and Student Assistants are entitled to a pension scheme (currently 10% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution). Applications close on 5 October 2026 and are reviewed on an ongoing basis, so early application is encouraged. Apply through Novo Nordisk's official careers page.
Responsibilities
Support Clinical Research Associates with trial start-up, conduct and close-out activities. Prepare, quality-check, maintain and archive trial documentation and site materials. Coordinate, track and ship clinical trial equipment, patient materials and study supplies to sites. Support reporting, meeting preparation, documentation and follow-up across trial teams. Assist with administrative processes such as purchase orders and payments. Contribute to ad hoc projects and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's programme within life sciences, healthcare or a related field (ideally at least two years of studies remaining, though not essential). Structured, organised and detail-oriented working style. Confidence with digital tools and systems. Strong written and verbal communication in Danish and English. Genuine interest in clinical development, coordination and administrative support.
Benefits
Hourly base rate of DKK 209.27 plus a pension scheme with 10% employer and 5% employee contributions. High flexibility around studies, including extra flexibility during exam periods, and hybrid working depending on tasks.
