Responsibilities

- Design and build systems from a single-service and platform perspective
- Design and implement scalable software
- Rapidly build products from hypotheses and validate value from an engineering standpoint
- Join the team’s on-call rotation to keep services running
- Uphold best practices in testing, observability, architecture and clean code
- Build features using large language models (LLMs)

Requirements

- Able to lead architecture design and implementation of a whole service
- Fast learner, adaptable to new technologies
- Strong computer science fundamentals
- Experience building and operating large-scale web applications with UX focus
- Proficiency with web applications and libraries
- Business-level English (Japanese not required); willing to join on-call rotation
