Job Description

The Delta flight attendant jobs 2027 recruitment round is officially open. Delta Air Lines announced on 2 September 2026 that it is now accepting flight attendant applications for its upcoming 2027 hiring classes, with opportunities for both English-speaking candidates and bilingual (Language of Destination) applicants. This is Delta's main cabin crew hiring window, and the airline notes that high application volumes can slow response times in the application portal. Flight attendants are the face of Delta's onboard experience across a global network of more than 300 destinations. New hires complete Delta's respected training programme before joining one of around 20 US crew bases, which include Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis and New York. Applicants must be at least 21, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, be legally authorised to work in the US, speak, read and write English fluently, and be willing to fly domestic and international routes on irregular schedules including nights, weekends and holidays. Applications are submitted through Delta's official careers portal.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and comfort of all customers on every flight. Deliver Delta's signature onboard service with warmth and professionalism. Respond to in-flight medical and security situations per training. Represent Delta's brand across a global network of 300+ destinations. Work as part of a crew team on domestic and international routes.

Requirements

At least 21 years old at the time of application. High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Legally authorised to work in the United States. Fluent spoken, reading and written English. Willingness to fly domestic and international routes, including overnights, weekends, holidays and irregular hours. Ability to complete training and meet Delta's safety, medical and background standards.

Benefits

Competitive flight attendant compensation with profit sharing, comprehensive health benefits, retirement plans, and industry-leading travel privileges for employees and eligible family members. Paid training and a clear career path within the world's most awarded airline teams.
