Job Description

Altia Central is hiring an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) for public schools in Aichi, Japan (Job ID 158651). This is a full-time, on-site position with a salary of ¥240,000 per month, open to overseas candidates for September 2026 and beyond, as well as candidates already living in Japan on an ongoing basis.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist Japanese teachers of English with classroom lessons
- Prepare and deliver English lessons and learning activities for school students
- Support school events and cultural exchange activities
- Help students build English communication skills and confidence

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Native-level English ability
- Conversational or basic Japanese ability
- Previous teaching experience
- Driving ability is needed for many placements
